North West Hunt Sabs Group News
September 2006-March 2007

The 2006/2007 has been a strange but rewarding season here in the North West. We have been at the forefront of trying to get a proposed cull of Ruddy ducks in the Wigan area stopped. At an extraordinary meeting of the Wigan Council in March 2007 following our campaign the council postponed the cull until September 2007, so its good news for now.

Hunts we have attended are the High Peak Hunt, Cheshire Forest FH, Forest and District Beagles, Royal Rock Beagles, Blencathra FH, Vale of Aylesbury with Garth & South Berks, The South Devon FH and the Mid Devon FH on one of the wettest, coldest, windest days ever!!!

Throughout the season we have many new sabs coming out with us, so next season we should be busier than normal.
