Saturday August 12th (the start of the grouse shooting season) sabs from all over the country descended upon the North Lancashire moors to save the lives of 100's of grouse.
A shoot was located just south of High Bentham, on seeing the sabs walking up the moor to the shooters they decided to call it at day.
A full report will appear here shortly, however, please find below some pictures taken on the day. (There was approximately 13 police vehicles in attendance and the force helicopter, all for just 40ish sabs).
Who said they don't have the resources to police hunts?
